Hello Kitty Vending Machine at Walmart
I spotted Hello Kitty while Joy and I were leaving Walmart… I wonder how long it has been there, because I always walk out through the same exit and I never paid attention to the vending machines.
I had to get one because… Well, it was only $1.00 and… Well, Joy even got one!
I was hoping for the ladybug figure but I actually got the Hello Kitty in her red swimsuit with the blue goggles — which my brother Ed gave me a while ago…
So I pretty much made Joy trade me her orange Hello Kitty charm…
I already have a couple of the figure charms which my Mom got from the little Asian store close to her house… I think it is called Tokyo Japanese Lifestyle (I have been to the one in Little Tokyo).

I cannot believe it has been 20 years since Keroppi’s introduction! My Mom always got Keroppi stuff for my brother Ed. Sanrio’s news section says,
The celebration of all things Keroppi continues with July anniversary parties in select Sanrio stores nationwide.
That is pretty awesome — I hope there is a celebration at one of the Sanrio stores nearby, as I would love to go! It won’t be as elaborate as when Hello Kitty celebrated her big 3-0, but there will definitely be a lot of special limited edition merchandise… In fact, there are already some products for sale on Sanrio.
You can also visit the featured section for some cute Keroppi buddy icons, message graphics and desktop wallpapers.
Something I thought was super-funny: the “Keepin’ it Green” slogan. Is Keroppi like the Hip Hop personality in the Sanrio gang? Or maybe it is a double entendres — he stayed his green color but he also managed to rake in a lot of money… I mean, he has been pretty popular throughout the years. Not making fun, just pointing it out. I think Kero Kero Keroppi is super kawaii and I’m happy he has been keepin’ it real money green for 20 years now. O-O

Another Hello Kitty thing from Amandabot’s trip to Taiwan. It’s a Hello Kitty map with plastic pins. It was a 7-Eleven promotional item that she had to buy off of her brother. Yes, I said her brother — Kitty-chan is super popular in Taiwan. As if you did not know that! I guess the whole point of this map is to pin the places you have already visited… And I guess I have a lot of traveling to do!
